Ulrich Herberg

Ulrich Heerberg is a student from the venerable “Technischen Universität München”, who contacted me with the objective of doing his “diplomarbeit” (for the non-germaphones, this is roughly “masters dissertation”) under my supervision.

The subject of Ulrich’s dissertation was address “autoconfiguration in mobile ad hoc networks”, and within that domain he has contributed by analysing and providing a taxonomy for the solution-space, as well as specified, implemented (and soon: tested and proven correct) a MANET autoconfiguration protocol.

Subsequent to completing his “diplomarbeit”, Ulrich decided to stick around, and is currently working towards a PhD under my supervision.

Juan Antonio Cordero Fuertes

Juan Antonio came from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) as part of an Erasmus exchange programme. Working under my supervision towards, and eventually acquiring, his M.Sc, he is currently, while continuing towards his PhD (and still stuck with me supervising), wrestling OSPF and trying to make this protocol behave well on MANET-like networks.

Nestor Mariyasagayam

A graduate from Eurecom, Nestor is working towards his PhD. His overall emphasis is Vehicular Networking, where - at the moment - he is looking an fast broadcasting algorithms for that specific application domain.
